Jessica Wigmore - owner I have grown up with Labrador dogs which my Mum has bred over the years, horses, cats, rabbits, chickens, geese, ducks, doves and pigeons, hamsters, fish. Apparently the first word I said was Horse… sorry Dad!! We now have Azalea my homebred Throughbred x Sports horse Mare who when I get chance compete in Dressage. Roni – larger than life Jack Russell. Tilly our rescued Labrador who is now almost 12 and Emma our Chocolate Labrador who is almost two and full of energy! Plus Bobby our Budgie! I still have 3 Cats who have stayed at my Mum & Dads small holding along with Wendy the Donkey,(Weston Super Mare Winter donkey care home) dads horse ‘Clive’ 7 Geese, about 40 special breed chickens Mums dogs, horses, Quails, and a pond full of fish!
I studied my BHS and hold stage 3 then worked for a point to point and Eventing Yard and regularly competed in X-Country events. My Career then changed to a high flying sales executive for Porsche, Jaguar and Land Rover to support my horses and animals but after ten years I took a dramatic change in 2007, to combine my business, hobbies and love of animals to form Jessica's Pet Care. After having a dog walker and my horse in livery I totally understand the needs and worries when working full time to support them. I operate a professional business but with emphasis on a personal service which I believe is paramount importance when caring for much loved pets. I wanted to provide a service where customers could be confident that if they can’t spend all day with their dog/pets then they know someone who can and they will make sure their dog has all the attention and exercise they need. A well exercised dog that is able to socialise with other dogs and people is a happy dog.
Lauren Simmonds Lauren has helped Jessica and her Mum and Dad for over 12 years looking after all the ‘Wigmores’ Animals’ hence smoothly joining Jessica in July 2009. Lauren has worked for Golden Valley Vets for many years along with livery/dressage yards. Lauren is like an extended family member, hence solely trusting Lauren and understanding her love to animals and happily taking on the pet care with Jessica and family.

We would be delighted to look after your pet(s) for however long or short a period. We are also available for short notice or emergency bookings however, it is always best to book as far in advance as possible to guarantee your booking.
